Rachel has a Masters in Sustainable Architecture and Energy Systems from the Centre of Alternative Technology and a PhD in Architecture and Civil Engineering from Bath University. She is a member of the AECB and the Passivhaus Trust 

Rachel also works as a research associate for the Passivhaus Trust and is a member of the technical team. She also supports South Downs National Park to deliver its planning policy on Passivhaus and teaches Passivhaus design at the University of Bath.

When not at work, Rachel can be found swimming in the sea, hiking across a hill with Oscar the dog or trying out her new love of cross country skiiing
